Before you write
A few questions come up again and again. The answers below may save you waiting for a reply.
Common questions
- "Did you receive my image?" — No. Tools on this site process files inside your browser; we never receive, see or store them, so we cannot recover a file for you.
- "A conversion failed." — Please tell us the browser and version, the device, the file type and its rough size. HEIC and AVIF problems are often browser-specific, and that detail lets us reproduce them.
- "The output is too large." — Try the exact-size compressor on the compress page; if it still cannot reach your target, reducing the image dimensions usually solves it.
- "Can I use the tools commercially?" — Yes. Files you process remain yours; see the terms of use.
- "Will you add a tool for…?" — Suggestions are welcome. We prioritise jobs many people share and that can be done privately in the browser.
What we can help with
- Bug reports and files that do not convert as expected.
- Corrections to any guidance or numbers on the site — we update pages when they are wrong.
- Privacy questions and data requests. Because we do not hold your images, these are usually about the cookie and analytics data described in the privacy policy.
- Accessibility issues with any page or tool.
What we cannot help with
- Recovering files after you have closed the tab.
- Editing, retouching or design work on your behalf.
- Problems with third-party sites that rejected an upload — though we are happy to suggest the right format and size.
