Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about how this tool works.
How much smaller will my PDF be?
It depends on the source images. Typical reductions are 60–90% smaller than embedding originals at full resolution, with negligible visual loss for screen reading.
Will it ruin photo quality?
Medium compression looks fine on screens and most prints. Use Low compression if you need maximum fidelity.
Are images uploaded?
No. The whole pipeline runs in your browser.
Can I mix photos and screenshots?
Yes — though screenshots with sharp text may look softer at high compression. Use Low for those.
What page size is used?
Auto by default (each page matches the image). You can switch to A4 or Letter if you prefer.
