Frequently asked questions
Can the blur be reversed?
When the painted blur or pixelate is destructive (the result is exported as a new image), the original pixels are gone. Always download and share the exported file — never share the original.
Should I use blur or pixelate?
Pixelate (mosaic) is harder to reverse than a soft blur and is the safer choice for sensitive content like faces or text. Blur looks cleaner but a low-strength blur can sometimes be partially recovered with image processing.
Does the tool upload my image?
No. The image is loaded into a browser canvas and never sent to a server.
Can I use it on mobile?
Yes — touch input is supported, and brush size scales for finger painting.
Will it work on huge photos?
Very large images are scaled to a working canvas to keep painting responsive; the export preserves a high-resolution version of the result.
